This is a large deck and hot tub installation we did. Below is the drawing we used as a basis for the project. Click on the drawing to see it full size.

We built this deck with pressure treated lumber. The decking is cedar. We took pictures both before and after we stained the deck. You can see there is quite a difference in style once the deck is stained. Some people really like the deck unstained other like it stained.

The pocket area you see behind the hot tub is for the hot tub cover to fold up and fit inside. It gets the cover out of the way and makes it easier for the kids to handle. Above the pocket is a planter.
